Smaato/adSquare Partnership: New Global Audience Targeting in SDX

We’re pleased to announce “Phase One” of our new adsquare integration. This first-ever exchange-side integration gives Smaato’s 450+ DSPs and ad networks access to historical and real-time global audience data targeting. Through a combination of Smaato’s premium in-app inventory and adsquare’s vast data portfolio, demand partners will now be able to target unique audiences at scale. Smaato publishers will also, in turn, see an increase in the quality and value of their inventory by serving contextual audiences to advertisers in real-time.

Adsquare is a neutral mobile data exchange and they are at the forefront of global consumer audience segmentation. Their platform lets users explore thousands of attributes, combine them to create unique audiences and trigger them on various programmatic buying platforms, such as Smaato. This allows for precision targeting and lets DSPs and other demand partners reach highly-relevant audiences at the right time. Adsquare’s audience data comes from both 1st and 3rd party data providers and is trustworthy, secure, and privacy-friendly. When the opportunity arose to integrate their audience data into the Smaato Demand Platform (SDX), we quickly added it to our product roadmap.

With our initial integration release, Smaato will offer adsquare’s pre-built premium audiences, which they created using mobile behavior and local context analysis. These premium audiences include Students, Moms, Sports Enthusiasts, Tourists, Foodies, and many more. In fact, depending on the country, there are nearly 100 different premium audiences to choose from. The countries where this data will be available include: USA, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Austria and Switzerland.
