Our recent release of The Smaato Publisher Platform (SPX) marks a paradigm shift, not only for Smaato but also for mobile advertising technology as a whole, by putting Dynamic Demand and a free, full featured mobile-first ad server in the hands of publishers and app developers of all sizes. For free.
In an effort to make SPX as powerful and as easy to use as possible, we've streamlined the initial setup process to get you up and running in just a few minutes.
This is how to get started with SPX:
- Sign in to your SPX account at http://spx.smaato.com. (Don't have one yet? Follow the link and click on Register Now!)
- You'll see SPX's Welcome screen. Click on + New App.
- Enter your app's (or mobile site's) details: Type, Name, URL, Category, as well as at least one Adspace with Name, Dimension, Category and Page Placement. Hit Save.
- You'll receive an "App Successfully Created" notification plus all necessary resources for integrating with Smaato. We recommend using an SDK for app integration, but you can also connect using our Ad Tag, or directly via API.
- That’s it!
With these few simple steps you are now connected to the Smaato RTB Ad Exchange (SMX) and integrated network mediation stack. That’s over 340 global programmatic demand sources competing for your inventory – in minutes.
Look for more SPX tips in coming weeks and be sure to check out wiki.smaato.com if you have any questions.
Try SPX today and you’ll never see mobile advertising platforms the same way again.
